Bridgnorth Visitor Information Centre has a wonderful collection of memorabilia about RAF Bridgnorth that has been donated to them. My thanks to them for allowing me to use some of that material. If you have any photographs or documents that you wish to share, please see here.  They also have a RAF Bridgnorth Visitors Book recording the visit of many former servicemen and women. Although virtually nothing of the former station now exists, the beautiful town of Bridgnorth is still the place to relive those days. Please come and visit us. See the Bridgnorth Visitor Information Centre web site here.

Clive Gwilt has written and published a 30 page booklet "Memories of Royal Air Force Bridgnorth, Shropshire" It has what appears to be an excellent fully detailed history of the RAF Station. It also contains assorted photographs of individuals, buildings, the site plan, etc. The booklet is available from the Bridgnorth Visitor Information Centre for £2.50 plus £0.44 post and packing within the U.K. Cheques should be payable to Shropshire County Council.
